Hello, I am the Aspiring Catholic Homesteader

Why Aspiring? A couple of reasons:

First of all I am not Homesteading yet...our tiny one bedroom apartment doesn't allow for much planting or keeping of animals, but my dream is to live a more self-sufficient life, on a little bit of land somewhere, someday...

Second: As a Catholic woman, wife, and mother, I am called to aspire to be better daily. Whether that means I'm working on strengthening my prayer life, relationship with my husband, and bond with my infant daughter, or working to build a strong, protected domestic church in my home. We are as women called and constantly striving to live up to the example set for us by our Holy Mother, and I can only pray to exhibit some of the patience, kindness, peace, and fortitude that she exudes.
